MISSION

Solarfuture’s first project was the installation of a small system to power three houses in Malaysia in 1997. The system proved to be so simple and efficient that we really wondered why it is not  widely used. Today, Solarfuture has moved from Singapore to France, where it is building an office powered only by renewable solutions.

Solarfuture's mission is to promote renewable solutions for a sustainable world. The organisation informs, lobbies and cooperates with organisations, authorities, agencies and private companies.

Solarfuture also works to develop small renewable power plants both in the European Union and in developing regions. These obviously include solar (both photovoltaic and thermal) but also wind energy and hydro power which are seen as indirect solar energy.

Solarfuture also plans several "stunts" and PR exercices to show the efficiency and advantages of renewable solutions and convince the public of the critical importance of sustainable development.
